The National Wild Turkey Federation presents the Inaugural PA NWTF Conservation Bash hosted and organized by the Stony Valley and PA NWTF Chapters. This is sure to be a one-of-a-kind event, so don't miss out!

NWTF Mission

When the National Wild Turkey Federation was founded in 1973, there were about 1.3 million wild turkeys in North America. After decades of dedicated work, that number hit a historic high of almost 7 million turkeys thanks to the tremendous efforts of our dedicated volunteers, professional staff, and committed partners.

The mission of the National Wild Turkey Federation is no less urgent today than when it was founded in 1973. What we do in the coming decades will be instrumental in not only enhancing wild turkey populations but also in the continuation of hunting and quality wildlife habitat for countless species.

Nate Hosie

Born and raised in the mountains of Pennsylvania in the town of Montdale. At six, Nat‘s father and grandfather began taking him on pheasant hunts and it didn’t take them long to realize they had created a monster. As years passed his passion and knowledge for hunting grew. He began to hunt with two neighbors, country certified experts on hunting turkeys, deer, grouse and anything else that moved. Nate took an overwhelming interest in turkey hunting and took his calling and hunting tactics to the next level. Practicing yelping on a daily basis, he won several calling contests, earning the nickname “The Turkey Slayer”. He currently is part of HeadHunters TV, and is excited to show the viewers that there still are people in this world who appreciate memories made in God’s country. Nate is also a successful Nashville recording artist. Like many country artists, Hosie's original music will focus on his passion for life, the outdoors and his patriotism. “I live the life that I sing about in my songs,” says Hosie. “A lot of my songs are fun, party songs, but a lot of them are more serious with things that have happened in my own life or things that I've seen happen in somebody else's life that inspired me. I just want people to be able to not only tap their feet to my music but to relate to it.”
